2021 Toyota Highlander Grille Guards & Bull Bars

I bought this for my 2018 Highlander. Bars themselves look good, installation was as described and no drilling was required. I had a Toyota accessory shop install it. (Did not like the thought of crawling around on cold concrete in my garage.) They charged me 1.5 hrs @ $60/hr. Not bad. However, they discovered that one of the rubberized step had a crack. I did not see this when I opened the box when I got the shipment. There is no reason to suspect the shop as they had called me in to the shop to show it to me before they installed it. I would have given this product a 4 or 4.5 except for the bracket design. It actually sticks down by almost 1-1/2" below the bars which can cause clearance problem in driveways that have large humps (such as where my daughter lives in the hills of Blacksburg, VA). I had bars in my 2006 Highlander. The brackets actually support the ends of the tubes and designed the brackets to be oriented horizontally such that they don't stick down below the bars themselves. I think SteelCraft designs their bracket this way. I'm thinking of pulling out the Aries and buy the SteelCraft. I'll sell the Aries for 50% off if somebody wants it.
