What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship except paint and painting on all Lund International, Inc.'s Lund International, AVS®, Lund®, Nifty® and Deflecta-Shield® Accessories branded products properly installed per provided instructions except those listed below under the One-Year Warranty, Two-Year Warranty or Three-Year Warranty. This warranty does not apply to any product from Lund International's direct or indirect subsidiaries. For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last as long as the original retail purchaser owns the vehicle on which the product is installed. Looks Fantastic

AVS® 322147 - Aeroskin™ Dark Smoke Hood Shield

My hood shield arrived in a day or two. Was surprised it was so quick. FedEx destroyed the box (which is much larger than it needs to be) but after inspection the hood shield was fine. I installed it a few days later. Install was easy (about 10 minutes) and the hood shield looks absolutely beautiful on my truck. ** I picked this one because there was no warning about brush style car-washes in the website description. In the instructions however, it clearly states not to go through a car wash that uses the brushes. (Here, thats about 99% of every car wash in town). So beware if thats a problem. ** I think it looks a million times better than the old "bug deflectors". Would definitely recommend this product!!

Did Not Fit Properly

AVS® 322147 - Aeroskin™ Dark Smoke Hood Shield

I purchased the Aeroskin smoke hood shield for my 2019 Nissan Titan Pro4X. According to CARiD product information, the item has a lifetime guarantee. I installed the shield per the manufacturer instructions and at first it seemed to fit. However, I noticed after a couple days, at highway speed, the shield started to vibrate. When I inspected the shield, I found that the lower edge of the shield near the hood edge, was popping up. I contacted CARiD and was advised that the manufacturer would not warranty the item stating that the they felt the reason for the problem was improper installation. I disagree with them. The AVS company did not offer any solution to the problem. Did not offer to send new tape or exchange the item. I had to purchase new double sided 3m tape. I chose a wider than the manufacturer provided 1/4" tape by purchasing 1/2" tape for more surface area. After removing the tape from the shield and while in the process of applying the new tape, I noticed that the rounded edge in the problem areas of the shield, were taller than the tape. This taller edge created a space that did not allow the original tape, which was not thick enough, to make good contact with the hood. To remedy this problem, I had to double up the double-sided tape in those areas to make good contact. Additionally, the bend of the shield was not formed properly which forced the bottom of the shield away from the hood. The fit was not good in that area. I would not recommend this product for the 2019 Nissan Titan. Upside to this was that CARiD offered a $25.00 refund/credit back to my payment method to offset the cost of purchasing new tape. I hope this review helps.
