Toyota Tacoma 3.5L 2017, Momentum® GT Cold Air Intake System by aFe®. A custom CAD designed roto-molded housing made from heat resistant material eliminates the use of multiple components and ensures the coolest air intake charge available. A large clear sight window allows for filter inspection without removal of the air box. The roto-molded housing is made out of black cross-linked polyethylene.

Warranty

aFe warrants its products to be free from manufacturer's defects due to workmanship and material. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase of the aFe product is required for all warranty claims. Warranty is valid provided aFe instructions for installation and/or cleaning were properly followed. Proper maintenance with regular inspections of product is required to insure warranty coverage. Damage due to improper installation, abuse, unauthorized repair or alteration is not warranted. Incidental or consequential damages or cost, including installation and removal of part, incurred due to failure of aFe product is not covered under this warranty. All warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement of the aFe part.

aFe® - Momentum® GT Aluminum Black Cold Air Intake System

Works and sounds great. It helps to put oil on the bolts and the bolt holes and run the bolts up and down until they go in real easy. This will make it easy to get them started, since you have to get your hand into the airbox. If you also have an AFE throttle body spacer the tube coupling will get compressed real tight, but it will work. Putting the tube on the coupling first also makes it easier.

Nice

Love the intake. Can tell and difference in power and sound. Only problem I had was that the plug that goes in the hole in the front kept falling out, because it did not fit correctly apparently.

Frustrating Installation

I was expecting the installation in my Tacoma to go smoothly and take about 45 minutes but that did not happen. The mounting holes in the bottom of the filter housing did not line up with the holes from the stock air box. Sounds great and provides a bit of additional power above 4K rpms.
