2015 Chevy Volt LED Lights

Like with most LED headlights, it’s hard to find one that doesn’t scatter the beam making it less effective than traditional halogen bulbs. Unfortunately, these bulbs find themselves doing the same as the rest. Because these are high and low beam bulbs that fit into projectors that use a mechanical high/low beam feature, the bulbs don’t emit any more light in high beam mode. The benefit to that is the light scattering won’t blind oncoming traffic in low beam mode. But it’s useless in high beam mode because of the light scattering. So 4000 lumens is a bad way to judge the bulbs effectiveness since most of that light is unusable. The lux rating is very low in other words. It looks good because of its cool blueish white color however and the bulbs are very easy to install, but overall are useless and are too expensive for something ineffective.
