Spot Beams, also called Pencil Beams and Long Range Beams, produce a concentrated beam of light that is ideal for seeing far into the distance. They’re perfect for racing and high speed night use so you can be aware of what’s ahead on even the blackest night and plot your route accordingly. Flood beams are so called because they “flood” a wide area with light. The cone of light is wide and tall, making flood beams invaluable when you’re negotiating trails with obstacles both to the sides and above, such as low hanging tree limbs. Flood beams are also useful for lighting up construction, farm and other work sites. With this Lumen combo light bar you get both beams for an exceptional level of illumination – spot beams in the center of the bar and flood beams at both ends.
Unlike some off-road lights that use incandescent bulbs with short lifespans and fragile filaments that can fail easily when the going gets rough, this Lumen light bar has powerful LEDs that last 30,000 to 50,000 hours, and are virtually impervious to shock and vibration – the perfect source of illumination for negotiating rugged terrain.
