Question:
I have a torn boot on my 2007 Toyota Tacoma steering rack on the right side and can hear a squeak or squeal from the that area while driving. Are there bearings that can be replaced on this part?

CARiD Answer:
Hi, it is simply not possible for us to diagnose your car from a distance. A squeak or squeal could be caused by many different possible problems, including but not limited to steering, suspension (springs/shocks/wheel bearings), or brake components. If you feel uncertain about diagnosing your vehicle, we suggest taking it to a professional repair shop.
