I just received this part, but it is not the right part. I am looking for the upper strut holder, it attaches to the actual hatchback door frame and the knob sticks out the top of it (not the side of it like this part). The one I received is for the bottom strut holder and attaches to the car rear body. The one I received does not match the existing upper strut holder, it matches the bottom one and will not work. Do you know the correct part number? I can send photo if needed.

Hi, we checked directly with Toyota, and it appears that the part you are looking for is #9 in the illustration. Unfortunately, we do not carry this part any longer. However, Toyota calls this part the "stay ball stud" and the Toyota part number is 68961-10030. This part might still be available at some select Toyota dealers. We apologize for the inconvenience.
