These Lumen fog lights have powerful LEDs that produce a bright, white, wide and flat pattern of light with a sharp cutoff at the top of the beam, illuminating the road ahead of your vehicle – exactly what you need to cut through dense fog and enable you to safely avoid pedestrians, fallen tree branches, debris, and other obstacles – without directing light at water droplets and airborne particles that could reflect back and impair your vision. The rugged aluminum housings are sealed by machine at the factory for protection from the intrusion of dust and moisture, for reliable operation under all weather conditions. These lights are a bolt-on replacement for standard factory halogen fog lights – installation is straightforward and only minor wiring work is needed for DRL operation. However, since LEDs don’t use as much power as halogen bulbs, some vehicles may exhibit flickering, bulb out warnings, or dashboard error messages when LED lights are installed in place of halogen lights. Resistors and/or CAN Bus decoders are available to eliminate such problems; however, they are not included and must be purchased separately.
