2004 Mercedes CLK Class Exterior Light Bulbs

I used these to replace the license plate bulbs on my 05 Mercedes. The car has a canbus system and theses bulbs are compatible. They have a good light output and I like the clean white light much better than the dim yellow from the original bulbs. One item to be aware of is that these are not actually 1.5" in length. The actual length is 36mm which is 1.4". If your fixture holds the bulb in place with the contact strips going over the bullet ends of the bulb you will need to adjust the contact strips closer to hold the bulb tight. If you are unable to make this adjustment then you need to find another bulb.
