Pontiac Firebird 1995, Driveshaft Kook Header Safety Loop by UMI Performance®. This NHRA legal drive shaft safety loop is a bolt-in application for the 1993-2002 Camaro and Firebird. This item bolts to existing floor pan holes in replace of the factory tunnel brace and requires no welding. This is a must for tracks that require a safety loop for cars running faster than 13.99 in the quarter mile. The loop is constructed of 0.250" thick mild steel with CNC machined mounting points for a superb fit. Drive shaft safety loop includes new hardware and installs in 30 minutes using basic hand tools. Drive shaft loop will not work with UMI tunnel mounted torque arms or similar tunnel mounted torque arms. It will clear with the stock torque arm, UMI transmission mounted torque arms and most aftermarket torque arms bolting into the factory location.
