The tires are more than I expected. They are not too good on the ice, but other than that, they are great. Put them on my F-150 and did not even need to balance them!!!
I have really liked them. They now have just over 40k on them and maybe have 3k left in them. Overall performance was good. My truck spends most of its time on the road or in the pipe yard. No really a hard core off-roader with my 50k truck. But I do get off in the occasional mud hole and go to the beach a lot during summer. They did exactly what they were intended to do. Never got me stuck, never got a puncture. Tread wore fairly even over 40k. Easy to balance, road noise is minimal for an M/T tire.
I have them on the 2001 Golf. I like them and plan on buying another set. Got 53K+ miles over 2.75 years on these so far but they need replacement. I imagine they would have lasted a bit longer if I had rotated them more frequently.
I'm truly pleased with the way these tires feel and ride. I went from 20' tires on my BMW 750li to the 22' and I couldn't be happier. Great price and the tires came mounted to the wheels I also purchased from CARiD. Love the service from CARiD. I will make all of my future purchases from you guys!
I just had these tires installed, so far they are great. I haven't really had a chance to push the limits on them since it's still around 40 degrees and it's a summer tire. The road noise is minimal. They do have very stiff sidewalls, which is nice when it comes to steering input.
So far, I've liked these tires. They've handled rain and ice quite well. Stylish looking tread pattern. These are directional tires. I don't remember seeing that in the description.
I bought a set this spring for my 06, and I am totally happy with them. They ride better than the OEM tires, and they are a bit quieter. I did quite a bit of research before buying them, and most people who have them seem very happy, and I found no big complaints.
I have a set of Sumitomo HTR T4's on my Baja, size 225/60/16 and they are awesome. They wear like iron and grip really well for a "T" rated tire. I had no problems in the snow when they were new, and never hydroplane.
I also put Acceleras on my new 16" horseshoe alloys and can confirm the comments. There is a slight increase in tire noise, but I've put this down to the extra width rather than the tires themselves. It remains to be seen how they perform over time - I've done about 500 miles since fitting them.
Just put these on (500 miles). They are well balanced, smooth, and with the extra width (12.50) make my Doodge noticeably more stable when cornering. Have had on my Ram for more than 4 years. Excellent all-weather tires. I haven't done much off-roading, just a little sand running, with good results. No problem.
I've been running these tires for 4 years and 40,000 miles. Great A/T tire! I've had great luck with them in deep snow, heavy rain, and light mud. They run great at highway speeds (70mph+), and they are not a loud tire. As stated, I have about 40k on them and I still have more than a half of my tread thickness.
I am going to order this tire for all of my cars. Tire is excellent in the rain & dry pavement. Will not be used in the snow because they are summer rims only. Nice tire you will pass people on the highway in the rain with these tires
I owned a set of Cooper AT's on a Z71 back in 2000. And I got better mileage out of a mud grip. Was thinking about getting rid of it but it rides so good. Now I guess I'll keep it. And the price is good too.
I'm currently running the Firestones. They have 25,000 on them and are in great shape. No complaints about handling or traction. I went with them because they had great reviews and the price was right. It's not the most aggressive AT out there but it handles the road well in all conditions.
These tires have saved my a** multiple times in the mud and show! The traction on these tires is very good. I've had them for almost 40k and probably will get at least 20k more. There is little vibration on the highway, but you have to expect that from oversized tires. Overall very nice tires.
Have had these on my Patrol for 50,000km various surfaces, black stuff, dirt, sand, and mud. Survived Cape York corrugations and the developmental road with ease and was excellent under lowered pressure on the OTT. Low to moderate, noise on highway. Good wear so far, still have 10mm depth and am yet to puncture or any other issues, regular pressure checks & wheel balancing has probably helped. No chipping as opposed to others traveling same route on other high profile brand where cracks and lugs missing.
I ordered these tires with my rims. CARiD customer service called me and told me that the Lexani lx5 which I ordered were upgraded so they put the upgraded virago in on the rims for no additional charge! The upgrade was to Lexani lx7 they are good tires as far as I can tell I haven't driven with them in the snow though so idk how the performance will be then but so far good.
Put them on July 3. So far, love them. Towed our 8000lb trailer 600mi round trip 2 days after putting 'em on. Drove the lease in dry conditions, no punctures or scrapes. So far, I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.
I got the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus installed about 500 miles ago. Love them. Previously had the Michelin Latitudes. The Pirellis feel like ankle weights have been taken off the car. It's so much lighter feeling, handles even better, and the ride isn't as harsh. Highly recommend them!
My Dad put a set of the Uniroyal's on his 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. After 14,000 miles he is very happy with them. And I have Uniroyal's on my Accord and they are great tire for the price. In this case I vote for them.
