Continental® Tires Reviews
I am going to order this tire for all of my cars. Tire is excellent in the rain & dry pavement. Will not be used in the snow because they are summer rims only. Nice tire you will pass people on the highway in the rain with these tires
Fantastic tires, and they made a huge difference on the snow and ice we got this week. Definitely worth it.
I got these as a high-performance option that would still allow me to drive in snow occasionally. I usually run snow tires in winter, but sometimes mother nature doesn't follow my tire-changing schedule. My primary concern was with wet weather performance, and in that area these tires do not disappoint. Since I put them on my car, we've had some torrential downpours that would have had me pulling over to the side of the road most times. But with these tires, I was able to tackle any amount of water effortlessly. Even in a sudden panic maneuver, the car stayed under predictable control and everything turned out fine. Dry performance is also better than I expected, I have yet to make these squeal. They're 3cm wider than my stock tires, so grip is abundant. And highway noise and vibrations are unnoticeable. Absolutely love these tires.
Went from my stock 19/225/45 tires to 18/235/50s so I could by this make/model. They do not make this model on 19" wheels. So glad I "downgraded" my steering response and braking are so much better than the Dunlop Sport SP 5000 that came on my 2014 Mazda 6 GT. Noise is vastly improved as well. The different profile and lighter wheels have made the ride much smoother as well, bumps are not as harsh as they use to be.
Good on road? Yes. They're a summer tire, pretty quiet and wear pretty well. Most RRS owners are getting anywhere from 22k-27k worth of use out of them. Wet conditions? Neutral to positive. I've only had them for a year and it hasn't rained much here. Can't say anything bad about them so I guess that's a good thing.
I had the CrossContact LX on my Suburban and absolutely loved them. I had the Bridgestone Dueler HT's prior and thought that they were the best tires until I tried the LX's. Quiet ride, handling, and smoothness of them was really unbelievable.
I ran Conti winters on the 911 turbo last year and they were fantastically good. I used it in complete confidence as a winter daily driver (snow, ice, sleet, rain, gravel, sunshine...), including plenty of trips up to the mountains/ski slopes. Highly recommended.
