ST Suspensions

ST Suspensions

Founded in southern California in the late 1970s, ST Suspensions built their reputation on performance-oriented coil springs, shock absorbers, and sway bars that lowered the ride height of American muscle cars and sporty Japanese imports popular in the 1980s. Cutting edge shock absorber valve designs shattered the belief which had existed up to then that riding low and handling better meant settling for go-kart levels of noise and harshness.

For the modern performance car enthusiast who seeks adjustable ride height without the immense complexity and cost of an air suspension system, the company offers Coilover Lowering Kits. This set of front and rear ST performance coilovers features shocks and springs integrated into one strut assembly, and each is designed with a manual adjustment knob that drops ride height and firms up the ride.

ST Suspension Sport Tech line components fit easily in place of your factory springs and shocks. Similar to the shock absorbers found within ST Suspension coilovers, all Sport Tech Line shock absorbers are created from the start to work optimally at a lowered ride height. Because of a twin-tube damping design, an equalization chamber is formed which allows compression and rebound rates to be tuned for firm resistance against body roll while providing more give to soften the ride over sharp potholes when needed.

Sport Tech replacement coil springs are progressive, meaning they have softer compression at the top section where it’s needed for ride comfort. Coil windings gradually become closer together for increased firmness towards the bottom. So the ride is firmer under pressure when you need it, not when you don’t. Sport Tech coil springs are designed for a long life of precision operation, and are built to avoid the disappointments of spring sag and corrosion.

Unlike many organizations that sell automotive parts and accessories, our standards are as high as yours are. That’s why we only use vendors with a proven history of customer satisfaction and quality control such as ST Suspensions. Our employees have tested these springs and shocks on their own vehicles, and you can rest assured what we offer for sale will provide you full satisfaction. We bend over backward to provide as much information as possible on the range of ST Suspensions products on our site, and our specialists that are available seven days a week make every effort to help answer any specific questions you have.

If you are looking to further enhance the performance of ST coilovers, springs, or shock absorbers, anti-sway bar kits are available in front-and-rear, front, and rear applications. The anti-sway bars are solid steel, not hollow, in order to ensure a higher level of yield strength that will maintain its integrity over a lifetime of extreme use.
