SRC Textured Black Rocker Guards by Smittybilt®, 1 Pair. When you want the ultimate in rocker area protection, you need SRC Rocker Guards. Instead of a single tube, these guards have 2 tubes with supports, for protection that extends from wheel-to-wheel and spans from the underside to the entire rocker panel. Constructed from heavy-duty 1.75" diameter 0.120" wall thickness tubing, these rocker guards are dual stage Powder coated in matte black and easily bolt-on to your Jeep. Drill a 5/16” hole in the frame.
Any kind of off-roading, but especially rock crawling, can be rough on your Jeep's rocker panels. Left unprotected, they can be severely damaged by impacts with rocks, tree stumps, and other obstacles. SRC Rocker Guards have 2 tubes instead of 1 for maximum protection of these vulnerable areas. And these tubes extend from wheel-to-wheel and from the underside to just below the doors, for the most extensive protection available. They'll not only provide protection, their smooth surface will help keep you from getting snagged and hung up, so you can keep wheeling instead of trying to get unstuck.
Manufactured from heavy-duty 1.75" diameter 0.120" wall thickness tubes, the one-piece design arrives ready to install. Each guard is acid bath dipped to remove impurities, a special "E-Coat" is applied inside and out, and a dual stage matte black powder coat finish is applied. These guards install easily to the front and rear body mount brackets, with no drilling required, and detailed instructions are provided. The SRC Rocker Guards are covered by a limited 5-year warranty against finish defects and a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Smittybilt®, located in Compton, California, is the leader in the off-road parts and accessories market because they were there at its inception. Founder Basil Smith, also known as "Smitty", was one of the original Southern California 4WD enthusiasts. He started a business called Rock-ett Products, making specialized equipment for trucks and Jeeps, in his garage/machine shop in 1956. Smitty's son Tom began working at Rock-ett at an early age and became head of the ever-expanding enterprise when it became Smittybilt in the 1970s. Under Tom's leadership, the company created innovative products like the original "Nerf Bar" side step, and tubular front and rear bumpers for Jeeps. Today, thanks to their continued involvement in off-roading at all levels of the staff, which enables them to keep abreast of the latest trends and needs in the off-road market, Smittybilt remains the industry leader with a selection of over 2000 different products for trucks and SUVs.
