Not all cars are built to handle excessive heat or cold. Even the most progressive heating systems in the car industry are known to break occasionally, leaving the driver with no options until the problem is fixed. In the summer, leaving your car in the scorching sun for even half an hour can cause it to heat up to the point where even pulling the handle to open it causes pain. An opened window can easily solve the problem or lessen its severity, but causes security problems. In the wintertime, the warm air inside a car is known to fog up windows, reducing visibility, thus the window should be opened here as well. Thus, how do you keep your windows open in these circumstances while avoiding negative repercussions? The Ford Thunderbird wind visors are surely the answer you’re looking for.
These visors cover the upper position of your window at all times, but have the most affect when it’s open, blocking wind and rain from entering while retaining a small air flow inside. It has also been proven that these visors’ design improves aerodynamics and reduces air drag, improving your car’s speed and efficiency. At CARiD, you can find a range of different choices, one of which will be sure to suit you.

"Since I ordered these during a MN winter, I won't be able to install them until temps reach the 70 degree mark, a necessity not mentioned in instructions. I called to see if the deflector installation was temp sensitive. I examined the deflectors and they seem well made and stylish. I look forward to their use this spring on my 88 Tbird, r1200rt-p"
