In 1969, the half of the company was purchased by Fiat. 1987 was the year when the F40 was released, the last automobile built by Enzo Ferrari who died on August 14, 1988. In 2008, Fiat's share in Ferrari increased to 85% and for the moment being it equals 90%. Now the headquarters of Ferrari is situated in Maranello, Italy.
