The Chevy Impala is a timeless car. With the production period having hit the half century mark and still on-going, we can safely assume the Impala will be with us for decades to come. As new Impala models hit the market, you can keep the performance of your own Impala at its best with a custom exhaust system from CARiD. Impala custom exhausts are designed to boost engine performance, giving more horsepower and torque for everyday car usage. Extra power for the Impala engine means more power at low rpm, immense pulling power and faster acceleration. Performance exhaust companies have outdone themselves in the production of custom Impala exhausts, with Borla and Flowmaster each having at least two different exhausts for different Impala trims. Other brands whose results are just as commendable are MagnaFlow, Gibson and RBP. Expect between 7-10% extra power and an equal amount of torque from any of these brands.

Alongside increased power and better performance, Impala aftermarket exhausts offer great value for money. Buying a cheap exhaust may seem cost-effective in the here and now, but it won’t be when the exhaust breaks down after a year or two. Rather than spend slightly less now and end up at the shops looking for a replacement exhaust system after a while, why not buy a durable custom exhaust from CARiD? Made from superior quality stainless steel, custom exhaust systems last for years, even when constantly used in tough road conditions. Get the peace of mind that comes with knowing you can count on your custom exhaust to carry you through the day, no matter how tough or demanding the road condition. Plus the low, powerful roar they give will make you feel as though you just bought a new car.

    • Performance Parts
Engines have often been compared to air pumps, because the engine that’s most efficient in terms of economy and power is the one that can get air in and out of its cylinders the easiest. That’s why most performance modifications like conical air filters, cold air intake systems, headers, and cat-back exhaust systems are aimed at making the intake and exhaust systems less restrictive. These parts increase the flow of air into the engine and ease the flow of exhaust gas out of the engine. Among these components, headers may be the most difficult to install. In this article, we’ll discuss what headers do, their different types, and how much performance they can add to your car.

You may be wondering why so many aftermarket performance exhaust system manufacturers are offering dual exhaust systems connected by "H-pipe" or "X-pipe" sections. After all, aren't two separate pipes, or so-called "true duals", the best for performance? The answer is no, but to understand why we have to examine how a typical internal combustion engine works.
    • Performance Parts
It's an age-old question that many have asked. Will an aftermarket exhaust be worth the expense? While they definitely can be, an important question to ask yourself is do you care more about the deeper sound they’re designed to produce, or the added performance gained from being less restrictive? As car enthusiasts, we’ve become accustomed to associating the sound of a car with its exhaust. After all, doesn’t everyone have a childhood memory or two of a car and the particular sound it made?

Regardless of whether you're shopping for a simple replacement muffler that delivers original equipment (OE) sound and performance or an upgraded muffler which provides a deeper growl with increased power through freer exhaust flow, you'll see choices between "direct fit" mufflers and "universal" mufflers. In this article, we'll help you understand the differences between these two styles so you can make a more informed purchase.

    Great Product
Ordering this product on-line was easy and saved me hundreds all together. I would recommend spending the money on new rubber hangers as that was the one item, that gave me the biggest problem removing and reusing.
