Factory air intake systems are a compromise between intake noise, underhood space and engine airflow requirements. Flow is initially restricted by the OEM air filter in the factory airbox, and then airflow is further restricted by the OEM air tube. Factory air inlet tubes have sound baffles and make awkward bends. You can solve part of the problem by installing an AIRAID Modular Intake Tube (MIT).

The AIRAID MIT is computer designed and dyno tested to give your engine less restrictive breathing, incorporating larger diameters and unique bends that can't be duplicated with metal ducts. It "straightens out" the airflow to your engine, increasing it by as much as 400 CFM over the restrictive, stock intake tube. The MIT is made of cross-link, high density polyurethane, which is less affected by engine heat than steel or aluminum tubing.

Each MIT is custom made for the specific application and all are compatible with stock airboxes as well as AIRAID intake systems. They come with quality couplers, stainless steel clamps and everything required for installation, including detailed instructions. And they're backed by AIRAID's "No Hassle" warranty. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. AIRAID limits the duration and remedies of all implied warranties, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the duration of this express limited warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts.

What does this warranty cover?
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of your AIRAID OE replacement air filter or intake system (the “product”), with the exceptions stated below.

What does this warranty not cover?
This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond AIRAID's reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).

How long does the coverage last?
This warranty lasts for the lifetime of the product. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. The warranty period will not be extended if AIRAID repairs or replaces the product.

What will AIRAID do?
AIRAID will repair any product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. If repair is not possible, AIRAID will either replace your product with a new product of similar composition and price, or refund the purchase price of your product, at its sole discretion.

Limitation of liability
The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies and AIRAID's entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty. AIRAID's liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the product, nor shall AIRAID under any circumstances be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect.

This warranty lasts for 90 days of the product from the date of purchase. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. The warranty period will not be extended if AIRAID repairs or replaces the product.

Got Exactly what Expected

The overall quality of this product is good, it looks amazing and I'm happy to have bought it. Got exactly what I paid for and could not have been happier. It sounds great on my 3rd gen 4runner but the only setback was that the tube was a pain to get into the throttle body, but after a few hard pushes, it went in smoothly. The MIT came with all the pieces and hardware, I'm really happy with this product and will buy from this site again.
