Founded nearly fifty years ago, Powerwinch is a company specializing in manufacturing marine trailer winches, anchor windlasses, capstans, and lots of related accessories and parts commonly used by boaters. Today, the brand is part of Carefree of Colorado, the manufacturer of various products for recreational vehicles. Marine trailer winches by Powerwinch are available in several models such as the 712, 912, 915, and some others. Installed on the boat trailer, such a device allows you to pull a boat until it smoothly glides onto the trailer submerged in the water.
All of the abovementioned models are electric and powered by DC 12V, so this procedure is virtually effortless for you, which can't be said about manual winches requiring physical effort.
