Onki Running Boards

Onki Running Boards

Onki running boards are based upon the company’s tested-and-proven aluminum subframes and come in sizes from 21 in. to 118 in. They mount with a universal bracketing system that fits the majority of present-day vehicles. For sport utility vehicles and pickup trucks from Ford, GM, Dodge, Ram, Nissan, Toyota, and other popular makers, vehicle-specific no-drill bracket mounts are offered, which attach the boards utilizing the existing holes. Onki offers its running boards in three different model types, which are marketed under the American Runner name.

Among the features that set them apart are special lighting installations, with upper and lower entry and exit lights added for extra safety; integral body gap striping for better looks; no-slip surfaces and pads for a secure footing, and various others. The AR line of running boards is available either lighted or non-lighted. They are the classic Onki units featuring user-friendly installation. Such components range from 52 inches to 118 inches in order to fit a wide array of CUVs, pickup trucks, SUVs, vans, and so on. Their brackets come zinc coated, and can easily be mounted to the rig’s frame.

Onki nerf boards are heavy-duty units made up of an aluminum subframe, a stainless steel side cap, and rubber surfacing. Onki Volcano running boards are more budget-friendly alternatives produced from out of mild steel and finished in lasting black powder coating. Such components come with 3 in. half tubes at the front edge, so as to ensure cool looks with a complete step board to match. Their design draws inspiration from lava flows, with traction openings laid out on the top step shaped like miniature volcanoes. They are placed there to provide greater traction and added safety. Such units also feature replaceable rubber pads providing a complete look.

Look Great on my 93 4Runner
Onki® - 6.5" Black with Chrome Trim Nerf Boards
These look great on my 93 4Runner. I like the Nerf bar look with the fictionally of a step for the kids to easily get into my lifted car. I ended up using the stock brackets from the side boards I replaced. 4 stars due to the mounting hardware is too complicated and appeared to be not as strong as original brackets.
