Onki Volcano Running Boardsare modern-looking, stylish running boards with traditional nerf bar styling and a 6.5-inch wide step pad with textured rubber inserts for maximum grip. Choose grip pads in bright orange inspired by Hawaiian volcanoes and lava flows, or black. If you’ve ever been frustrated with flimsy running boards that do not feel secure, you will find the strength of Onki Volcano Running Boards reassuring. Framed and supported by a 3-inch diameter steel tube, these steps mount easily and securely to your truck’s frame with some drilling required. Brackets used for installation feature oval-shaped holes that allow the running board’s position to be adjusted one inch in any direction. The perforated top metal layer of the step can be easily removed to replace rubber grip pads, or to clean underneath.
A thoroughly engineered design on the surface of the step board is enhanced with replaceable rubber grip pads that deliver an amazing look with traction that does not disappear in mud, rain, ice or snow conditions. You and your passengers will enjoy a safe and comfortable climb inside your vehicle, and the extra ease of accessing your truck's cargo area from the side makes climbing all the way into the bed unnecessary. All metal sections are crafted from traditional mild steel, and a finish of black powder coating offers durable protection from chips and scratches.165.38 354.38

I love the product and researched heavily before I purchased it. I specifically stated the type of vehicle I have (2006 Dodge Sprinter) when I ordered; is it one of Murphy's laws that when I received a week after expected that the instructions were for Ford and Chevy. It tool 5 hours to install one running board. Not near as easy as states in information. My Dodge Sprinter has a standard build in rear heater on driver's side exactly where the clamps needed to go. Purchased item for my anniversary; it took over a week longer than stated to receive it. Specified that item had to be signed for to be delivered, but it was not; got home one day and found it on my front porch. Was this review helpful for you? The Onki Volcano running board is a great board for the price. The quality of the product and instructions were high. Buyers need to remember this is universal fit item and as such the install is timely because instructions are not tailored to cover every imaginable vehicle produced. The install will take time to sort through mounting options and dimensions. The product well fit my needs of replacing my factory running boards on a 1995 full size Bronco. Was this review helpful for you? The mounting instructions were very poor. It wouldn't be hard to improve them. They are actually more of a disclaimer than instructions. Without any help from the instructions, and without drilling into my vehicle - I was able to install them and they do look great. Was this review helpful for you? The Onki volcano running boards look awesome of my SUV. They are extremely high quality and give my SUV a distinct uniqueness no one else around the town has. The running boards have made it much easier to hop out of my SUV, which has a 3-inch body lift. The running boards are wide and left me plenty of clearance room for off-road driving. If you're thinking of going to a truck and SUV accessory shop, don't... CARiD.com will save you at least $100-150. This website has more variety than anyone else and will enable you to save money by ordering directly from the manufacturer. Was this review helpful for you? My 2006 Ford Escape was too tall for my wife, so I purchased these Volcano black running boards with orange pads. They look great and were very easy to put on after I asked Ramone about if I had all the parts. While answering my question, Ramone gave some installation tips. I found them to be extremely helpful in making the install go very smoothly. Now, I did not say quickly, just very easy. I had to undo the black plastic retaining clips that look like they are Phillips head screws, but they are actually taken off by using a very thin bladed standard screw driver and turning the retainer with a Phillips screw driver for a few seconds until the retainer comes loose, then stop turning it and pry it very carefully out, then pry the bigger molly that the retainer came out of slightly with the same standard screw driver, then with your fingers. This lets the plastic cladding of the Escape come out of the way for drilling the two 5/16" holes in the pinch weld for, in my case a number 4 bracket cut to make a 4 hole and a 3 hole bracket, which I used the 3 hole to attach the number 2 bracket to in a cantilever for bracket 1 to go out to attach to the running board beautifully. I had to bend bracket 2 in a U shape to allow it to attach to the frame using only 1 self tapping screw. But this configuration is holding up very nicely after 2 weeks of use. The orange pads are fading a little to yellow, but they are still way more visible than black would be at night. I am over 240 pounds and bounced on them a few times before having my wife use them, and they passed with flying colors. I would very much recommend these running boards and CARiD to buy other things from in the future.2 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful for you? There is no top panel for cleaning and replacing pads as advertised. Each button is pressed into its own hole. Also the length is short, maybe 6 inches to look right on a Wrangler Unlimited. It is, however, very strong and of high quality. It is also the only steps I found that can be added to a Rubicon with factory rock rails.2 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful for you? YesNoShare this review:
