Mazda RX-7 Trailer Hitches

    About Mazda RX-7 Trailer Hitches

If you are looking for a sporty car with an affordable price tag, then you need to see the Mazda RX-7. Its sleek styling, strong engine and head turning sporty image is a major attraction to die-hard sports car enthusiasts. Its affordability makes it even more compelling. The car provides a reasonable ride quality and great handling. The cargo area is a bit decent. However, it cannot carry much. Attaching a trailer to the vehicle will provide better functionality for you especially when you need to travel long distance. You will also need a trailer hitch from CARiD to connect the car to the trailer. The type of hitch you need depends on your vehicle’s towing capacity and the size of the trailer you need to pull. You also need to consider load distribution as this affects stability of the vehicle. Weight-bearing hitches transfer the entire tongue weight onto the rear axle causing the back to be heavy and thereby creating steering difficulties for the driver. This hitch requires the use of an equalizing hitch to transfer some of the weight to the front axle.

Mazda RX-7 trailer hitches are designed to guarantee precision and safety. They are made from top grade materials to ensure the end product is durable and reliable. Trailer hitches are resilient, suitable for use in extreme weather conditions and difficult terrain. They are fully welded products designed to bolt on to your vehicle in a few minutes. CARiD provides an instruction manual to enable you carry out the installation at home. They also provide all the necessary accessories required to make your installation successful. Items such as hitch covers, electrical connectors, and receiver mounts are readily available. Further, the manufacturers issue a warranty with each hitch to guarantee the quality of their products. They are ready to replace or repair the hitch provided you’ve compiled with the terms of the warranty.

Here at CARiD we have a loyal set of customers, and they are very involved with their cars. That means using them in many ways, or racing them or towing them to car shows on trailers. They know towing, is what we’re saying. And 9 of them left a number of reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. We know you’ll feel the same way after towing your toys around, whether it’s a race car, a trailer full of quads or motorcycles or personal watercraft or full-on camper. CARiD has the parts you need to support your hobby!

When you’re setting up your trailer with a new tow vehicle, several things need to be considered: the ball mount and ball must be rated to take the weight, and the ball has to be at the right height. Once you have determined the proper weight class, choose a ball mount of a high enough class for your trailer, and set up your ball mount and ball for proper towing. Here's how you do that.

"Very impressed with CARiD, as my hitch was delivered in 3 days. No problems there. The hitch has excellent quality and nice powder coat finish. But the actual installation... Well, don't try to do it yourself unless you can raise the car high enough to get adequate work room. I took it to my mechanic, and even on the hoist, it took over an hour. But it's on now and solid with no problems. Very happy when it was all complete. Using it for a bike carrier, Yakima, so this hitch is going to be great. Very happy with CURT hitch."

"Arrived quickly. Easy to install, but it had over an inch of play between the frame and mounting points and I felt that tightening the bolt could have torn the frame, so I put thick washers between the hitch and the frame and still had a lot of space that the frame had to bend and fill. The hitch should have been made at least 3/8 inch wider to limit this frame stress. Also, the mounting plates should have been wrapped so they both did not land up tearing thorough the cardboard box and have the paint chipped off so I had to repaint them before mounting the hitch. "I have purchased several other items from CARiD in the past. They have all been top quality, as is this hitch cover. It installs easily and is made of stainless steel, so it won't corrode. It makes a nice appearance, looks like factory OEM equipment. "
