When a new filter is developed, the company's engineers calculate filter's pleat and mesh for each specific application, ensuring thus optimum airflow. "I recently put this exhaust system onto my 2009 Lancer, and it is absolutely amazing. The Muffler is Huge, but not in a bad way. The exhaust note from it is just perfect. It sounds great. Mind you, it's not quiet. As soon as I drove it with it on, I instantly noticed huge gains in horsepower, especially since it's working in conjunction with Injen's SP Cold Air intake. The entire system is really beautiful, I get tons of compliments with it too. All said, I think this is a great system and would purchase it again if I had another Lancer, it's definitely worth the money. On top of it all, the service from the support staff at CARiD is top notch, they will go out of their way to solve any of your problems. "

"Looks and sounds amazing on my 01 Spyder GT. Sounds a lot better with an Injen cold air intake as well. Welded on within a half hour after stock was cut out. Great product great sound!"

"This filter is very high quality and installation was easy and fit well. Kind of expensive but the quality and performance makes up for it. Haven't had it long enough to test it's 100,000 mile guarantee but I'm sure it'll hold up."
