After installing this kit, you get 63 additional lb-ft. of torque at the pedal, which means you can be sure that your truck is more than capable of tackling any task pulling heavy trailers or hauling cargo over challenging terrain. The installation process is as simple as it could be, while all factory fuel trims and A/F ratios are retained to prevent damage to the engine. The system is enclosed in a one-piece sealed housing that utilizes Injen’s Twist-Lock technology to safely attach SuperNano-Web Dry air filter and ensure maximum performance without causing check engine lights.
The kit utilizes all factory harnesses and you will not require any additional extensions. Injen uses the XLPE cross-linked polyethylene to ensure system durability. It offers excellent environmental stress crack resistance and impact and tensile strength. Besides, when the hood is open, the system looks clean and aggressive. Two additional urethane plugs are integrated into the side of the air box in case you choose to tune your truck to the max and need all of the air the engine can get.
