Firestone Suspension

Firestone Industrial Products, a division of Bridgestone, has been a leading manufacturer of air springs and tires for more than 70 years. Today, they are the #1 worldwide manufacturer of air springs, and for good reason. Firestone has always been committed to quality and customer satisfaction, which is why they have been so successful. Although the company is headquartered in Indiana, USA, Firestone is a worldwide company, with manufacturing plants in Latin America, North America, Asia, and Europe. They are known around the globe for their quality products and their heavy duty air springs, which they make for cars, pickup trucks, semi trucks, rail cars, buses, and industrial uses.

Featured Products

Firestone has a long history of innovation. The Firestone Industrial Products division was founded in 1936, when Firestone Tire and Rubber Company purchased a manufacturing plant in Noblesville, Indiana. Just two years later, Firestone’s in-house development team released plans for the first ever Pneumatic Suspension Device, which was later to be named the Firestone Airide Air Spring. The Air Spring revolutionized the automotive industry, leading to massive success for the Firestone Company. Although they started as a tire manufacturer, air springs quickly became Firestone’s “bread and butter.” Firestone of course patented their new technology, knowing that they had created something revolutionary.

Today, Firestone has lots of competition. So what sets Firestone apart? For one, Firestone has had the most experience in the industry. They were the first to patent air spring technology, and they have been tweaking and improving it ever since. 70+ years of product development and research have led to an extremely high quality product, and the craftsmanship really shows. Today, Firestone air springs often outlast many other parts of the suspension, such as shocks, bushings, etc. Firestone air springs are designed to last for years and provide thousands of miles of smooth driving.

Firestone was the first producer of air springs, but the innovation did not stop there. Ever since their humble beginnings in the 1930s, Firestone has been hard at work improving their existing products and coming up with new ones. They continue to be an extremely innovative company, and they are always ready to meet the growing demands of the marketplace. As technology advances, Firestone’s products keep pace without trouble. They employ an intense product development process, which helps them to work out all the kinks before releasing the product to the public. Each potential product goes through several redesigns, as well as rigorous testing. In short, nothing leaves the Firestone factory until it meets their rigorous quality standards.

Firestone has also made a point to remain an ethical and fair company. Their main goal is to create quality products at fair prices, and therefore pass on exceptional value to the consumer. Firestone, unlike many competing companies, thinks of profit last. They figure out how to make an exceptional product and put it on the marketplace, and then they figure out how they can turn a modest profit selling it. They also make a point to pay their employees well above the industry average, which improves moral and productivity. Happy employees make quality products, which is something Firestone figured out early on in the game. Lastly, Firestone ensures that all its facilities meet certain environmental standards, and they strive to reduce their carbon footprint safely.

Ever since the 1950’s, Firestone has been involved in the community – both surrounding their manufacturing plants and globally. Firestone’s parent company, Bridgestone Americas, established a trust fund in 1952 that supports charitable and philanthropic organizations worldwide. Today they donate several million dollars annually to various organizations, and they also hold events like their annual hog roast and car show, which serves as a charitable fundraiser. Firestone has always been involved with their community, and they continue to help their employees and those surrounding them, even as the economy slumps and their profits dwindle. Firestone continues to be heavily involved in philanthropic ventures, and they have no plans to change this policy any time soon.

Great product. So far so good, I've had it on a few days now and towed some cars, they did great. The only thing is the installation is a little tricky.

Great Kit. I have them on 2 weeks and i love them. It makes the ride stiffer that's what I was going for. The drivers side was not fun and took some modification to get it in and the passenger side was easy but the to get it . for the most part I would do it again and would like to pay a little less.

I am very happy with this purchase and the price was better than other online sellers of this product. These are working just fine so far. I have no more sag when towing. Installation was a breeze because I paid a professional to do it.

Great!!!! I would recommend these to anyone who pulls heavy loads with their pickup truck! After I installed these airbags was amazed at the difference in the ride and handling of my truck. It made a huge difference while pulling the heavy loads I take. Was easy to install and everything came as described. It even showed up earlier than expected!

This is a great kit. Pretty simple to install, and is easy to use. I installed a wireless system on my other truck, it has not worked nearly as well as this one has.
