Dodge Nitro Performance Exhausts

About Dodge Nitro Performance Exhaust Systems

Get greater satisfaction from your Dodge Nitro courtesy of a brand new aftermarket exhaust system. CARiD has a wide range of Nitro custom exhausts for all Nitro models that you can choose from. You may have had your Nitro for a year or two and are wondering whether replacing the stock exhaust system is the right thing to do. When you weigh the pros of a custom exhaust against the cons of a stock exhaust, it will be clear the stock exhaust system has to go! The Nitro stock exhaust, like all factory exhausts, is restrictive in that it does not facilitate the free flow of spent gases. This causes high backpressure within the system and affects the engine’s efficiency, leading to loss of horsepower. The custom exhaust system works in a completely different way, by maximizing the flow of spent gases and reducing backpressure. As a result, more horsepower is realized.

It is crucial that you pick an exhaust system that is custom built for your Nitro engine. Flowmaster, CGS, MagnaFlow, Borla and Gibson all have a range of direct replacement, cat back exhaust systems for the Nitro. Pick the one that matches your engine size and car specifications to ensure a proper fit and get the highest power increase. This will range between 7-10% depending on exhaust system. Buying a custom Nitro exhaust system saves you money in due course. Because of their durability, all our exhaust systems last long. They do not wear out, break down or dip in performance. What you get when you buy any of our Nitro exhausts is great value for money, backed by a long-term warranty. The Nitro custom exhaust sound is a winner. Low and controlled, its moderately deep rumble will let you concentrate on your thoughts as you drive while subtly hinting at the power within your engine.

Unbridled power and outrageous sound - that's what accompanies each exhaust system we store for you on our digital shelves. Manufactured from the premium materials using the latest technologies, they all are ready to complete the image of your vehicle and give you instant horsepower and torque gains. After an exhaust system is installed, your vehicle will roar like a lion and run like a cheetah. Have doubts? Read over 87 exhaust system reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, and choose the product that will satisfy your needs.

It has been a battle of the ages to make exhaust sound like it should. Having less bends or turns will not only improve the sound but also performance. A custom exhaust is always an option for the race inspired and spirited weekend warriors. Our manufactures offer everything needed to build a custom exhaust to your preference.
The consensus opinion among exhaust flow experts is that any V8 engine will benefit from a dual exhaust system with an H-pipe or X-pipe. H-pipes were first installed to quiet this exhaust noise. As with the H-pipe, an X-pipe also affects the sound of the exhaust. With an X-pipe, the two sides of the exhaust system are merged. The exhaust pressure on both banks is equalized and power is increased at all engine speeds.

"I drive a 2010 Challenger 5.7 Hemi. I waited 3 years to find the best cat-back exhaust. Someone had to be the Best. Borla decided it would be they. It was the best money I've put into my Dodge. The awesome sound leaves everything else in the dust. This is a no-brainer... Spend the money and unleash the sleeping giant. The cool factor is a ten plus."

"The dB exhaust gives my truck a deeper rumble I was looking for. The idle note is full, and when I get on the throttle, the system really wakes up. It won't make your ears bleed, but the sound does get your attention. For me, it's exactly what I wanted, though there will always be someone who'll hear some drone."
