    About Chevy Parts

It's not a secret that drivability issues are caused by worn or damaged car parts that result in failure in various vehicle systems preventing the vehicle from proper operation. Just for example, if the timing belt that synchronizes the movement of the engine’s valves and pistons is extended or damaged, the synchronization of the engine parts is lost. As a result, valves can be broken with possibly even more severe and expensive damage to pistons and cylinders. This is why it's extremely important to check your Chevy parts for wear and damage and replace them if needed.

Meet an All-Electric Chevy Spark EV, Soon
Meet an All-Electric Chevy Spark EV, Soon

Earlier this week, General Motors invited hundreds of journalists to announce that it'll release an all-electric version of the Chevy Spark by 2013. The Spark EV was described as an important part of the Chevy's plan to provide customers with multiple electrification solutions, and thus address transportation needs and lifestyle of people living in urban areas.

The subcompact will be powered by a nanophosphate lithium-ion battery, which can be recharged from a wall outlet using standard household power. The Spark EV will be able to travel at least 25 miles on a single charge, which is why it'll be targeted at the customers who have predictable driving patterns and shot commutes. The company also announced that, compared to the original Spark, the 2013 EV version will add such new features as climate control and all-weather and road condition operation.

It's yet unclear when the car will go on sale. So far, the Chevy Spark EV is scheduled to hit the showrooms in late 2012. In the US, it will be sold in limited quantities and mostly in California, as well as in the states that adopted similar emissions standards.

Chevrolet Considers Revival of El Camino
Chevrolet Considers Revival of El Camino

According to Jalopnik, GM’s product planners are thinking over the idea of bringing the Holden Commodore Ute or even the Chevrolet Lumina SS Ute to the U.S. as a new El Camino.

Since the loved-by-many Pontiac G8 ST was ceased, the lack of the car-based truck could be felt by the auto enthusiast community, so the idea of El Camino return is likely to meet a great support across the States.

Relying on a competent source, Jalopik informs that the Chevy El Camino could arrive as a 2015 model year vehicle, launched in the 2014 calendar year.
