The Chevy Cobalt Sedan concept was recently unveiled at the International Motor Show, taking place in Buenos Aires, Argentina from June 17 to 26. The vehicle is built by General Motors Technical Center in South America and is based on the Chevy Sonic platform.
The four door sedan is slated to enter production next year. The engine offerings will include gasoline, ethanol, and diesel four-cylinder powerunits ranging from 1.3 to 1.8 liters, and mated to either manual or automatic transmission.
The concept features an aero kit, which includes front and rear skirts, an unobtrusive rear spoiler, 17-inch alloy wheels, and twin exhaust outlets. Inside, the Chevy Cobalt has a twin sunroof, two-tone leather seats, chrome trim, an infotainment system with LCD screens built into the front headrests.
