BackRack Bed Accessories
Founded in the late 1980s in Ontario, Canada, BackRack is a premiere worldwide vendor of pickup truck protection racks and accessories that make installation of tonneau covers and ladder racks easy. BackRack always build their products to a standard that’s unparalleled in the industry and has never chosen to farm out development just to offer items that do not deliver a superior level of quality.
BackRack knows how important your truck is to you, and they specialize in an area of cargo bed protection other accessory makers sometimes leave off - safety for vehicle occupants. Because navigating your pickup over rough terrain, icy snow, loose dirt, sand, or gravel is challenging enough, doing it with the weight of a full cargo load in your bed can make it dangerous. Carrying debris, sharp-edged objects, and other gear in your pickup’s bed can easily lead to damaged body work and potential injury to driver and passengers.
Backrack’s “Safety Rack” and “Back Rack” cab protectors offer a stylish solution to the “headache” of worrying about dented metal and broken glass from cargo rudely asserting itself into your personal space. Choose the “Back Rack” for high style if you need horizontal bars that can deflect big heavy items or opt for the “Safety Rack” with cage-type gridwork that blocks smaller objects from sliding forward. Backrack also offers adapter pieces that allow the cab guard assemblies to sit higher above bed side rails. This leaves room underneath for tonneau covers or for tool boxes to be mounted.
BackRack offers Side Rails that take pickup truck cargo safety to a higher level. They are easy to install, securing easily to existing stake pockets. While a few pickup models may require the drilling of one small hole in the bed wall, most vehicles will not. Once the side rails are installed, you’ll gain a limitless amount of tie-down options to prevent items from sliding, falling over, and becoming damaged. The Side Rails can also be used as a base to install cross-bars similar to a roof rack setup – allowing bicycles, sporting equipment, and enclosed luggage carriers to be secured in your bed area.
Unlike many organizations that sell automotive parts and accessories, CARiD’s standards are as high as yours are. That’s why we only use vendors with a proven history of customer satisfaction and quality control such as BackRack. Our employees have tested these products on their own vehicles, and you can rest assured what we offer for sale will provide you equal satisfaction. We have made every effort to provide as much information as possible on the range of BackRack products on our site, and we will make every effort to help answer any specific questions you have with specialists that are available seven days a week.

I bought this rack after smashing my back window while getting wood. I'd had the best prices around. It is a very rigid rack and am very satisfied. Thank you for a great product.

I had a little bit of a problem with the nuts fitting onto the screws. It took me about 15 to 20 minutes to install the mounts and the rack. It's great. Thanks. Ed Bame

I haul commercial truck tires and this is a must to protect my truck bed. Everything bolts in without making any holes in the bed. They look great and installation was simple and very easy!!!

I got this for my dad's Ford Super Duty. He loves it! It looks great and installed pretty quick. We even installed a light and bracket. Really looks sharp on the truck. Highly recommended for everyone!
I got this for my Ford Super Duty 2011. It fits great, is easy to install and looks way better than the other brand. I'm glad I decided to go with this rack. My boss saw it and is thinking of ordering a bunch for the fleet at work.
