The K&N 69 Series Typhoon Cold Air Intake Kit increases airflow to your engine, raises horsepower and enhances your engine's appearance. The airflow improvement starts with an oversized conical high-flow K&N air filter, installed in place of the restrictive factory airbox. The large increase in filter area over the stock airbox filter results in a huge increase in airflow and a greater capacity to capture and hold dirt.

The increased airflow continues with a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube in place of the factory air path. The Cold Air intake positions the air filter outside the engine compartment, to draw in the coolest air possible. Cooler engine air inlet temperatures result in more power.

The aluminum intake tube is available in various finishes to enhance your engine bay. All components are mounted and connected with high quality materials such as steel, aluminum, silicon or reinforced nylon, to ensure long life. Every 69 Series Typhoon Cold Air Intake Kit comes complete with everything necessary for installation, including comprehensive installation instructions. The K&N filter can go up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required. And the K&N air filter is guaranteed for one million miles.

This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use, or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).

How Long Does the Coverage Last?

This warranty lasts for 10-Years or a Million Miles, whichever comes first, from the date the product was purchased. The warranty period will not be extended if we repair or replace the Product.

This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).

Easy install, and I noticed the sound and increase hp immediately in my 2012 Camaro. The only issue I think I had was whether or not there was supposed to be a gasket included for the MAF sensor. I didn't receive one with my kit and unfortunately I was not able to get through to customer service. Otherwise very happy with the unit and the ease of installation as well as timely shipping.

Air Intake System

Typhoon Air Intake

Great intake, acceleration you can feel. I drive somewhat the same as before (minus the occasional race) and I get .4 more MPG than before (not a lot but anything can help with these prices). I would definitely recommend this product! My SS has never sounded better.
