Most aftermarket steel off-road bumpers are strong enough, but that strength comes at a cost with a lot of excess weight. This heft can make your front end droop unless you install suspension spacers, and also cost you more at the pump with reduced gas mileage. Most of these bumpers are also stand alone parts.
