2007 Dodge Ram Bumpers & Valances

Before you buy this bumper please read my review. This is a 100% honest review. Duraflex bumpers are not the best quality bumpers. So with that being said inspect your bumper thoroughly before you sign off on it with UPS Freight. Dont make my mistake and glance at it though the plastic. Take it out the plastic and search every nook and cranny. I failed to do this and wasted my money because once i took it to the shop they found a hairline crack that was in the worst spot to be at on the bumper, didnt matter how many times filler was used it kept re appearing and wouldn't be good for a nice clean paint job. If you dont sign damage and refuse the package you can't get a refund. Sooooo. I had to buy another one. This time inspected it good didn't find any damage. But these bumper will have tiny imperfections. My truck was in the shop for a week and a half. (All depends on what shop) But they touched up all the imperfections and really sharpened it up. Bumper and truck as a whole looks amazing! Cost wise. Labor was a big thing. I was quoted at $850 but ended up being around a $2000 job again due to the labor, these bumper are not ready to paint once they arrive. Let the pros take care of it. Owner was a cool guy and knocked off $1000 due to my troubles of having to get 2 bumpers. I ended up paying $1000 even. Which was nothing for me since i prepared and had $1600 saved up just in case. Install wise you dont have to buy a reinforcement bar. They literally took the top portion off the factory bumper cover and bolted this one right over the remaining factory bumper cover. Due to trial and error this took me almost 2 months. If you take the simple time to inspect it you'll be fine and have a nice looking addition to your truck.
