If you’ve modified your diesel truck’s fuel injectors and delivery system, upgraded the transmission, installed an aftermarket turbo, or performed other similar enhancements, the Edge Juice With Attitude CS2 and CTS2 are designed to build on that increased strength to give you extreme levels of power that will help you win at the racetrack. The Juice with Attitude differs from most vehicle programmers in that it does not reprogram your vehicle’s ECU. Instead, a separate module mounts under the hood where it connects directly to factory sensors to bypass your vehicle’s ECU. This allows power increases above and beyond factory capabilities and prevents conflicted commands. While Juice with Attitude settings for Fuel Economy, Towing, and Moderate Increased power may be used with stock factory vehicles, Edge Products strictly recommends against using settings 4 and 5 for racetrack performance unless fuel systems and drivetrain components have been upgraded.
The Juice with Attitude CS2 and CTS2 also provide a high level of engine gauge readouts along with diagnostic capabilities. Whether you choose the compact CS2 with manual control buttons and 2.4-inch color screen or the CTS2 with full width 4.3-inch color touch screen, the days of using cumbersome and expensive analog gauges for custom read outs are over. The hand-held screen monitors plug into the diagnostic port of any OBD-II compatible vehicle to provide you with a staggering array of information. For example, battery voltage, engine speed, coolant temperature, fuel pressure readings, air intake temperature, transmission temperature as well as all other standard instrumentation are available with the touch of a button. Additional cables and input jacks are available that can be installed anywhere you choose for read boost pressure, any fluid temperature, air temperature, and more (see Product Options). Instrumentation of your choice can be displayed on either CS2 or CTS2 screen via three analog gauges, or by digital readouts accordingly sized to fit anywhere from 2 to 8 readouts of your choice. The CS2 and CTS2 hook up to the internet through your computer to download custom instrumentation designs, new software updates, or any features that become available in the future.
If you want scientific readouts of zero-to-sixty and quarter mile speeds and times the way car magazines obtain them, Juice With Attitude CS2 and CTS2 units offer that feature. After red, yellow, and green colors flash on the screen racetrack style, the monitor begins recording all speed and distance information directly from your vehicle - then provides it in a timed graph readout when the run is over. And if you have any pre-existing check engine conditions, your programmer will tell you what fault codes triggered your warning light, record them, then clear all problem codes if you choose. This provides you with dealership knowledge without the time and money a trip to the dealer costs. A built-in video input jack on the CTS2 allows the monitor to serve as a backup monitor when any additional camera is installed, or as a DVD player.
