2002 BMW 3-Series

Installed this in my 2002 e36 when I had a small amount of oil above the spark plugs. The new VCG was easy to install as expected. You should also change the grommets for the bolts around this area too to prevent any small vacuum leaks. If you have an oil leak, check your oil filter housing gasket first. Look for oil on the top left engine webbing (easiest to see if you take off the airbox first.) This is much more likely to be the source of oil on the ground than the VCG (which is more likely to leak on the header and smoke.) After I changed both of these, my car had no oil leaks.

2001 BMW 3-Series

Fit perfect on 2001 BMW 325i . I'm a DIY mechanic and it took me about 3 hours from start to finish. I did take some time cleaning up the oil that had been leaking for the last year. Google search your car troubles and be amazed at how many people have the same troubles. They give great tips on how to fix most problems. The gasket is a winner with no leaks after replacement.

Have no doubt that these will serve you well. I was worried after ordering them about what people in reviews said on the forums, but they are still holding up great. Don't let your vehicle spew any more oil, this is a quick (~1 hour) and easy change. Thanks CARiD!

2009 Dodge Ram

Much better than the thin rubber gaskets that are included with transmission filters today. The cheap rubber gasket that came with my transmission filter leaked a pint a day! That this model is their "Tuff Cork" version with metal center bonded to thin cork / rubber composite layers. Correct size for Dodge Ram 46RE/47RE and no sealant required. Torqued to 145 inch pounds it worked perfectly on my Dodge Ram.

1999 Audi A6

This oil filler cap gasket fit perfectly on my 1999 A6 2.8 engine oil filler cap. The part number shown above also fits select VW and Audi engines. Upon installing this on the oil filler cap, it seals firmly and snug when cap is twisted on. The product feels like it is of very high quality.
