Driveshaft Safety Loop (3500-R) by UMI Performance®. This NHRA legal drive shaft safety loop is a bolt-in application for the 82-87 GM G-body. Bolts to existing floor pan holes with no welding required! This is a must for tracks that require a safety loop for cars running faster than 13.99 in the quarter mile. The entire loop is constructed of 0.250" thick mild steel, CNC machined mounting points for a superb fit and fully MIG welded for outstanding strength. Drive shaft loop is contoured for the A-Body floor pan and bolts or welds into the reinforcement rib located behind the transmission. This is a must for tracks that require a safety loop for cars running faster than 13.99 in the quarter mile.
