The seventh-generation 2012 Toyota Camry is going to launch this fall. The new four-door sedan will be considerably redesigned, having new additional features and more efficient engines. 2012 Camry will be available in Base, SE, LE, and XLE trim levels.
The new four-door compact sedan is expected to have the same dimensions, but with some modifications. The wheelbase is expected to be longer supporting wider architecture. The new design is planned to be aerodynamic with lowered roofline giving the vehicle a smooth and improved look.
The new 2012 Toyota Camry will be equipped with 2.5-liter 4 cylinder engine having the DOHC (Double OverHead Camshaft) design and producing 169 horsepower. Toyota will also offer an optional 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 268 horsepower. The vehicle will come with six-speed manual transmission. The automatic transmission comes as an option. Fuel consumption is estimated 33/34 miles per gallon city/highway.
