Upgrading a Jeep’s suspension to increase wheel travel and axle articulation will help ensure the tires are always on the ground and getting traction, even over the most irregular terrain. But when mods like that are made, the tires are sure to contact the stock factory fenders. These VYPR-Series Front Fender Flares will give you the clearance you need for full wheel travel without interference, with a style that will make your rig unique on road or off. They’re made of durable, high tensile strength steel and given an attractive corrosion resistant textured black powder coat finish. In addition to providing plenty of tire room, these Torxe fender flares perfectly complement the Torxe VYPR-Series front bumper. Like the bumper, they feature distinctive mesh screen plates that create an exclusive, integrated look.
These fenders come complete with all necessary mounting hardware and detailed installation instructions. Some drilling is required during installation. While some factory mounting holes are used, holes must also be drilled in the body panel fender recess and threaded inserts installed so the Torxe fender flares can be properly secured to the vehicle. All drilling locations are clearly marked in the mounting instructions and the threaded inserts and insert installation tool are supplied with the mounting hardware. The turn signal harnesses plug right into the main vehicle harness and only slight trimming is required on the plastic fender liners if they are reinstalled.
