Halo Headlights by Spyder®, 1 Pair. Improve your vision and your vehicle’s appearance with these bolt-on headlight assemblies. The projector beam headlights will produce a sharper, more focused beam of light for safer driving at night, the bright Halos and LED lights will make your vehicle more visible to other drivers, and the Halos, LEDs and custom headlight housing will give your ride an exclusive, unique look. Meets all federal regulations for street use.
These projector headlights will benefit you and your car or truck in 2 ways. First you get superior illumination, which enables better vision in darkness and inclement weather, for safer driving. This is because the bulb in a projector headlight is positioned in front of an elliptical-shaped reflector. Where a conventional parabolic type reflector reflects light outward in a dispersed pattern, the elliptical reflector reflects the light toward a single focal point in front of the bulb. Projector headlights produce a sharper, more focused beam of light with less scatter loss. The second benefit is made possible because of the projector headlight’s smaller size in comparison to a conventional headlight. Without the need for a large parabolic reflector, the stylists at Spyder have used the increased space within the headlight housing to include Halos and LEDS, and work their styling magic to create the one-of-a-kind, custom designed Halo projector headlight with LEDs that you see on this page. Just by replacing your old, dim headlights you’ll gain a safer, more pleasurable driving experience, and give your vehicle an appearance makeover that will result in head turning looks.

Halo lights are one of the most popular trends in automotive lighting. The halo is a light ring that surrounds the headlight, for a distinctive look popularized by European luxury models. These halos are illuminated by 2 super bright LED bulbs. LED lights are the most advanced form of lighting. Their compact size makes it easy to arrange them in distinctive patterns, as seen on many late model luxury cars. They’re extremely durable, with an average lifespan of 50,000-75,000 hours, which means they’ll probably outlast the rest of your vehicle. The light they produce is much brighter and cleaner, much more attractive than incandescent light, which helps get them and the vehicle noticed, for increased visibility on the road and safer driving for you. The pattern of the LEDs in these lights is unique, so your ride will command attention wherever you go.
Every Spyder headlight undergoes a rigorous testing and quality control process before it leaves the factory. All wiring is tested to make sure the light is completely functional, and the housing is sealed with high quality silicone to ensure that no moisture can become trapped inside. Spyder lights are approved by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and ISO-9000 and ISO-9002 certified. They meet all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and are compliant with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 108. Spyder headlights are designed to exactly replace your factory lights; however some electrical wiring work may be required. Most lights come with detailed instructions to guide you through the installation. Spyder headlights are backed by a limited 90-day warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.170.00 1,015.58

I was very excited to finally receive my new headlights and taillights. I had saved for months so I could afford them. One of the selling points for me was the video showing how to install these on my year model truck. It seemed to be clear instructions and just about anyone with a few basic tools could do it. As I found out the videos leave out a couple of very important key items. First is the videos show a plug and play installation. Not the case at all. You better have car wiring experience and more tools as you have to hard wire in the CFL and the LED lights. If you think that you will just have your local automotive shop do it for you get ready to break out your wallet. The couple of shops I went to including the Toyota dealership did not even want to touch them so I think it is reasonable to say if you do find someone that is willing to do it the fee is going to be high. I did get the headlights working and was a bit disappointed by how dim they are in the daylight compared to all the other CFL and LED lights you see on cars and trucks that came with them from the factory. They do look great in the evenings and at night. The second challenge that came up is adjusting the headlights. When I first drove the truck at night these are not even close to being set correctly. I did suspect this because I knew the headlights come with adjustment screws. I did not expect Spyder to leave me in the cold once I googled their video on how to adjust them. What a joke! All it shows you is where the screws are located and thats it. As I found out their is a formula and several points of measurement, flat surfaces etc that all have to be done in order to set these lights. Not to mention the 20 times I had to install and remove each headlight as I was attempting to adjust them because you cant access the adjustment screws while the headlight is installed on my Toyota Tundra. My honest opinion is that these two factors that are very important are intentionally left out during the videos so not to scare away potential buyers. I would have much more preferred to have all the information so that I could have been properly educated and prepared to install these and enjoy them instead of wasting hours having to Google other sites to figure out how to install and adjust this product. I am still debating whether or not I will keep them which is aggravating. I refer back to my earlier statement that I had saved for months in order to purchase them. Was this review helpful for you? These lights are awesome. They make the Jeep look new again. Much better than OE lights. Shine much brighter. I highly recommend them. You need some understanding on installation or a good friend who does! Good stuff! Was this review helpful for you? This headlight assembly brought out the adolescent gear-head in me and made a nice upgrade to my new-to-me 2008 Nissan Frontier. Assembly arrived about a week after ordering. I took it to my repair shop for installation. No complaints from the guys, and one asked me where I got them because he'd be interested in purchasing them for his truck. High beams illuminate way ahead. Have gotten a couple of thumbs-up from other Frontier owners, so I think this was a good choice. (BTW, I'm a 63-y.o. grammaw!)Was this review helpful for you? YesNo
