This all-new XRC GEN3 winch surpasses its predecessors. It is armed with a more efficient 7.0 HP motor and assembly to deliver faster performance across the board. The winch also features the re-engineered internal rotor made using specialized silicon steel which results in a more efficient electrical throughput to give you more power while drawing less amperage. It features the new gearing made from forged steel instead of stamped steel which allows for pulling more load at a faster speed without sacrificing durability. The winch carries an IP67 rating which means it can withstand harsh punishment from the elements. It also enables you to get back in the driver's seat faster with 12% average line speed increase and a whopping 17% faster spool speed with zero load. The XRC GEN3 is outfitted with a tie bar LED spool light and remote controller with a built-in flashlight to tackle trails long past sunset. Its high-viz clutch lever quickly communicates ENGAGED vs FREE SPOOL from a distance. The winch also features the redesigned remote that comes with a dual magnet mount for easy placement. Plus, it features a brand-new ergonomic handle. The XRC GEN3 comes equipped with a 12V power post for additional accessories up to 50 amps. It sports the detachable, paintable body armor allowing you to customize your vehicle. On top of all, the winch features the revolutionary load indicator that constantly provides information on winch load via a series of LEDs on the remote, preventing over-taxation of the motor and line, and damage from overload.
Smittybilt®, located in Compton, California, is the leader in the off-road parts and accessories market because they were there at its inception. Founder Basil Smith, also known as "Smitty", was one of the original Southern California 4WD enthusiasts.
