What is covered - Replace products are protected by an industry-leading Limited Lifetime Warranty on replacement headlights, side mirrors, plastic and steel bumper covers, fenders, hoods, grilles and other automotive and truck replacement parts. Replace warrants its parts to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes perforation (metal rust-through) due to corrosion in normal use.

What is not covered - Because this warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship, it does not apply to normal worn parts, damage resulting from road hazards, gravel, debris, adjustments or damage caused by misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operation, improper installation, conditions that cause failure to the vehicle’s warning devices, alteration or removal of the parts. Warranty does not include costs associated with part removal, installation, inconvenience or consequential damages. This warranty does not apply to fleet or commercial vehicles. It is not covered if rusting is due to salt/chemical use on the road to remove the snow, and it applies to all chrome wheels as well.

All incidental or consequential damages are excluded from this warranty. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Questionable Longevity

Replace® MI1225144 - Lower Radiator Support Tie Bar (Standard Line)

Initially, the tie bar fit well and seemed fine. However, after a few months, I started to notice some rust spots forming around the edges. It's doing its job, but I'm keeping an eye on the corrosion.

Serves Its Purpose

It's a basic part, but it does what it's supposed to. My Lancer's front end feels more stable now, especially on rough roads.
