All pipes we offer were designed with high performance and durability in mind to create the perfect balance of exhaust flow and back pressure for your revved-up engine. Yet before ordering exhaust pipes, you should make a decision about their shape, diameter, material, and coating. The pipe diameter has to match the engine displacement and its horsepower output. Even though a pipe with a big diameter looks more impressive, if the diameter is too big for your application, you lose exhaust velocity and this leads to low- to mid-range power suffer. As for the pipe shape, you can choose from straight, 45-degree, and 90-degree models.
There are 3 types of pipe bending processes: wrinkle, crush, and mandrel ones handled either manually or hydraulically. Versus to winkle or crush bending, mandrel bending is the sought-after method for racing applications because it ensures smooth consistent bends, which translates into a maximized flow and boosted engine performance. The exhaust pipes can also feature single and dual system designs and may incorporate big ports that help carry exhaust gases away for more efficient burn in the combustion chambers.
