Black Widow is an innovator in exhaust performance, centered on never-ending research & development so as to deliver a clean, drone-free sound while improving an engine's horsepower and torque. The company is based in Santa Ana, California. Its founder, Bill Speed, was only 12 years old when he built his first V8 stock car racer in the garage that belonged to his father. As he was racing his autos over the weekend and while working in and managing several muffler shops, he studied various muffler designs.

While being never totally satisfied with the drone and sound that mufflers produced, Bill Speed began building mufflers with the right tone and put them to the test in his own vehicles. After more than twenty five years of research and development, the Venom and Pro Venom muffler series were born, thus providing that perfect sound that Bill Speed strove to create. And Black Widow Tuned Performance was finally established in 2014.
