The first generation of the Plymouth Cricket was unveiled back in 1971. The model offered four body styles: a two-door hardtop, a two-door coupe, a five-door station wagon, and a four-door sedan. Vehicles of this generation were equipped with a 1.6L 4G32 I4 engine. The second generation appeared on the market in 1974 – a two-door sedan replaced a two-door coupe, while a 2.0L G52B I4 engine joined the lineup. The production run of the Plymouth Cricket came to an end in 1977.
