Actually, the Omega was considered one of the Chevrolet Nova clones sharing its body and lots of mechanical parts. This car was manufactured between 1973 and 1984 and was available as a two-door coupe, four-door sedan, and three-door hatchback. Its standard equipment included either a straight-six engine mated to a three-speed manual gearbox or a proven ‘Rocket’ V8 with a four-speed manual transmission (a three-speed automatic one was available as an option). Starting from 1982, the ES models were equipped with a high-output 2.8-liter V6 (130 hp). The red and orange striping contributed to a sportier look, as well as the sloping front grille.
