Nissan confirmed that the company planed to terminate the production of its Special Edition package for the Nissan Rogue. According to the information, posted by Autoblog, the Japanese automaker will discontinue the Nissan Rouge Krom for the 2012 model year. Also the company is going to kick off the Nissan Cube Krom. "They were sold just fine, but they were billed as limited editions," said John Schilling, Nissan spokesperson.
Currently the company has no plans to restart production of these Special Editions. The Nissan Rogue Krom has been offered for two years and is still available in the dealerships in both front-wheel drive and AWD versions. It was introduced in October 2009 and went on sale the same year in December. The limited edition features the redesigned aggressive front with the incorporated new grille and fog lights. The upgraded rear bumper features the center-exit exhaust, rear spoiler and privacy glass. The Nissan Rogue Krom is offered in three body colors Gotham Grey, Venom Red and Wicked Black.
