Warranty

JMS warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 1 year. The warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered. The warranty is granted to the end-user and applies to products which are purchased, installed, and used for the purposes for which they are originally designed. This warranty covers defects arising under normal use and does not cover malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or incorrect maintenance. During the warranty period, JMS will repair or replace, at no charge, a product that is defective in materials or workmanship. JMS reserves the right to either repair or replace a defective component at its discretion and reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product under the terms of this warranty.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Works Great!

Product works great!!!! If anyone has issues with this (like engine replacement) that obviously means you had an issue prior....if you know anything about cars. LOL.

Headache

JMS® BX600015 - Boostmax™ Plug-n-Play Tuner

I went with the BoostMAX with the assumption it was safer for my vehicle and its warranty friendly, well I was wrong. I installed it step by step with the instructions provided and read them from top to bottom. The install wasn't that bad just took a little time. Then it was time to try it out. I went with the 93 octane setting because I put nothing but 93 octane in my vehicle. Set it to 75% like the instruction stated. Started off slow and then gave it some gas. Just after, my car started running very rough and wanted to die. Took my vehicle up to the dealer and my friend told me I lost compression in two of my cylinders. My vehicle has only 33k miles on it. So long story short, I get a new motor.

Boostmax for 1.0L

JMS® - Boostmax™ Plug-n-Play Tuner

Overall iIam pleased by the product, you can definitely tell a difference from stock. It does what it says. It looks good but with very little room in the engine bay there're few choices to place the module. The installation was a little frustrating bc there aren’t any specific instructions/pictures for the 1.0s due to not selling many. However,, after chatting with support at JMS and doing some research I was able to find the right sensors and complete the installation. Worth the money.

Big Difference for Not So Big Money

Great product for a cheap price. I’m happy with it so far. Can’t belive the difference it made. A+++
