    Halo Ring ComparisonHalo Ring Comparison
Ever since BMW introduced "halo" headlights to serve as daytime running lights on their 2001 5-series, rings of light encircling round headlamp bulb openings have caught on around the world as THE dramatic way to add visual Wow and stance to a vehicle's front profile. While composite headlamp assemblies became mainstream in the 1980s, it wasn't until the turn of the millennium that automakers began to style multi-faceted projector beam style bulbs within the housings.
Like Euro Taillights, Euro Headlights are a style of headlight housing that is popular as a replacement for the original manufacturer installed headlight housings. Projector Headlight refers to the actual headlight fixture within the headlight housing. Projector headlights produce more focused beam of light with less scatter loss, which makes driving in darkness and inclement weather safer.

"Now you can tell it's me when you meet me on the road! Good-looking and flows well with the overall looks of the pickup. Too old school for installation, don't have pop off tools. When you add the LED bulbs, the flasher will have to be changed, would have been nice to have this come up in the discussion at a purchase time. "

"These headlights look absolutely sick! Installation was a snap thanks to the included instructions, a multimeter helps if you have one. The Halos look awesome at night and the projector lenses are way brighter than the stockers. It's a great addition to my truck, and would suggest them to any other 99-06 Sierra owners."

"Easy hook up. Don't lay the bulbs up against any plastic while testing wiring. Melted my grille. Oh well, needed a new one anyway. The lights were a huge improvement over stock hazed ones. The socket connections seem loose. I figure this is due to shrinkage of the stock gasket. I may go around them with some silicone i.e. the rubbery type that seals, but you can unscrew if needed. They look great!"

"I liked the way these head lights look, but the installation was a little tricky especially if you are installing them on a 2011 GMC SIERRA. And i didn't think the instructions on telling you how to install them were that great at explaining how to install the lights. But i would still recommend these lights."
