- (125) WingGard ULTRA High Performance Twist-on Wire Connectors
Features
- Wings are knurled for a sure grip and offset from centerline for greater twisting leverage
- Square-wire zinc-plated spring instantly adjusts to the shape and size of the splice
- Flame-retardant properties resist heat distortion up to 105 degrees Celsius/221 degrees Fahrenheit
- High-dielectric shell features deep skirt design to prevent exposure of bare wire
- Rated at 600V max in building wire and at 1000V max in lighting, fixtures/luminaries and signs
- Copper to copper connections only
- Standard 1 year Warranty
- Perfect blend of leading innovations and superior workmanship
- Manufactured to offer high value and everlasting reliability
- Strict quality control ensures conformance to safety standards
The thermoplastic shell provides strength and resistance to chemicals while a long skirt prevents exposure of bare wire. The zinc-plated square wire-spring inside instantly adjusts to the shape and size of the splice upon insertion ensuring a long-lasting connection that resists corrosion and exceeds UL standards for dielectric strength and wire pullout force.

Gardner Bender® has been innovating and manufacturing conduit bending and conduit fishing equipment, electrical connection supplies, tools and wire management products for electricians for over half a century. Inventor James Gardner had started to produce his first mold to begin manufacturing his patented aluminum conduit benders that contained double-levels to tell electricians they had a 45 or 90 degree angle of bend. Fueled from this success, innovation was born, and by 1969 he redesigned and patented an improved fish tape for pulling wires through conduit. By 1975 Gardner Bender was producing 13 different types of hand benders, three different types of fish tapes, an assortment of wire connectors and other items needed by electricians.
