Trailering puts a strain on your towing vehicle. And it can put a real strain on your nerves if you're not set up right. You need a properly-engineered hitch with the appropriate rating for the weight of your fully-laden trailer. If your trailer is big enough, add in a trailer brake controller and the wiring to it, and perhaps a weight-distributing hitch. All that gear needs to be installed and rigged by someone knowledgeable in trailering. Draw-Tite has a hitch receiver for your vehicle that will allow you to tow the maximum amount permitted by the vehicle manufacturer safely. They also have hitch balls and ball mounts for every class of towing, and a full catalog of other gear that will make your trailering as safe and as easy as possible.

Nice Hitch (a Bit of Work to Install)
Draw-Tite® 75690 - Class 3 Max-Frame™ Trailer Hitch with 2" Receiver Opening (3500/350 Weight Capacity)
The hitch lined up nicely with the frame holes, but the largest holes in the frame needed to be enlarged a bit to fit the hardware through. My vehicle had an undercoating that made the problem worse. Even without the undercoating, you will likely have to grind two sides of the hole a bit to get the flat bar through it. Only need to do this to the two larger holes and everything can be passed through them fairly easily. You will need to bend the two hangers on the muffler about 1/2 inch so that the muffler does not rattle on the hitch where it mounts to the frame. I ended up removing the muffler (not a big deal - just 2 bolts and a couple of rubber mounts that slide off) to get better access to the holes on the exhaust side and get the muffler back on one of the rubber mounts that is basically locked in place by the hitch. The instructions are kind of hard to understand regarding the rubber mount near the back of the vehicle. Basically, I figured out that you have to leave the rubber mounts on the vehicle because once the hitch is installed, you can't get the one in the back of the vehicle off or back on again. All in all, it took about an hour to install from start to finish with a second person to help hold the hitch in place while getting the nuts on the bolts - it's not an easy one person installation. The hitch looks great installed. It does not stick out/hang down or look out of place at all. It seems very well put together. There was some chipping of the paint on the hitch (It looked like shipping damage), that I had to touch up, but I would buy this hitch again.

You have to cut the excesses on each side of the hitch, otherwise it rubs the muffler pipes. Then, the spare tire must be deflated to 50% so that it will fit back into place. This work must be done by a professional.

Finally got around to installing it. It looks great on my Colorado. I chose this one as the weight capacity is greater than the Colorado is ratted for, I'm a big believer in a little stronger is always the way to go. My 1/2 inch pneumatic impact gun picked this job to break, so I used hand tools. Have a big breaker bar as Chevy uses a thread locker and they fight you. (buying a new 1/2 impact today). I used my ramps and backed my Colorado just part way up to increase my working room and then varied my height as needed. (do not forget to chalk the wheels) The two vertical side plates are custom-made for the frame so it's important to have an assistant to help slide it into place as trying to do it by myself was impossible, as if it's just a little cocked it's a no-go. We even lubricated the plates and frame beams to help. But, that said there is nothing wrong with a nice tight fit.

No cutting or drilling. Hardest part was holding the hitch up (on my back) while trying to install the washers and nuts.

Fast shipping. Easy to follow instructions. A grinder definitely makes installation easier.

Installed on a 2013 Nissan Rogue. The second hole from the rear on the driver's side is slightly offset on the hitch. I believe this may be a manufacturing defect. I was still able to install the hitch, but the offset of the second hole meant I couldn't put in the third bolt (frontmost) because the hole in the hitch was now misaligned. I tried to angle it every way before fully tightening any bolts, but it would not align correctly. I was still able to install the two rearmost bolts on each side, creating a secure connection between the vehicle and the hitch.

Perfect Fit
Draw-Tite® 76275 - Class 3 Max-Frame™ Square Trailer Hitch with 2" Receiver Opening (7000/1125 Weight Capacity)
It bolted right up and fit perfectly.

The hitch is good quality, and installs fairly easily, but there is no way to do it in 15 min. The installation instructions say 90 min for a professional shop. I am a mechanic, and it took me about 2.5 hrs ( I did have a 3-year-old helper). Just plan for the time. You will need a saw for cutting the bumper cover as well as sockets and wrenches.
