BOYO warrants to the end user or retail purchaser (referred to this warranty as “Original Purchaser”) that its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of the purchase of the new product (excluding accessories, such as power cords, cradles, memory cards, adapters, and cables). In the unlikely event that the new product should fail due to defect in material or workmanship, BOYO will repair or replace it with a new or refurbished product.

This limited warranty does not cover any physical damage to this product; damage caused by improper installation; improper use; misuse; neglect; repair of cracked, scratched, broken, or modified cosmetics; or parts that have been altered or removed; damages done by another device used with this product resulting from use of non-BOYO parts. This warranty is void if you purchased this product as used, floor model sample, or refurbished; if the product has been altered or modified in any way (including, but not limited to, attempted repair without authorization from BOYO and/or alteration/removal of the serial number). This limited warranty does not cover the vehicle of any damages or liabilities, in which this product is installed or being installed. Works Well.

BOYO® VTL402TJ - Chrome Top License Plate Mount Rear View Camera with LED Lights and Trajectory Parking Lines

Installed this unit on my old Miata. Trigger/power wire at reverse light and ran the power line to the head unit which has a trigger wire for reverse. Works great with a good picture and the LED lights are a nice bonus. Reasons for only 4 stars: 1. Unit is a little bulky. 2. They really should provide the trigger wire attached in parallel to the RCA cable that's run to the head unit. 3. My head unit has no means of reversing the image (cheap unit) so the rear view is reversed and not so useful for backing, but at least you can see if there's something behind you before you back up. Make sure your head unit can accommodate reversing the rear view image before you buy.
